“Carterefe is not ripping me; I intentionally didn’t want my name to be on the song” – Young Duu denies being scammed allegations leveled against skit maker

In a video that is trending on social media, Nigerian singer and songwriter Young Duu revealed that he was not ripped off by the popular Nigerian skit maker Carterefe regarding a recently released song titled “Oyinmo.”

DAILY GIST HUB recalls that there were allegations that Carterefe had scammed Young Duu as his name was not featured in the new song.

However, shortly after, Young Duu made a statement to dismiss claims of being scammed or ripped off.

According to the Former portable signee, he had an agreement with Carterefe and a group of people to produce the song without featuring his name in it, for whatever reason, for his own gain.

In his statement, he said, “I was there, and I didn’t want my name there. My voice is my money, do you understand? Nobody is ripping me off.”

“My voice is my money, and I said it should be that way. That’s how it’s going to be. I want to see money; I came to Lagos to make money.”
